Project:
Sydney Teddy Bear Company - Company Website and Online Storefront
Description:
This project is to develop an online storefront for the brick and mortar Sydney Teddy Bear Company. This is a fictious company that Dr. Pollitt uses for his CET-4884 Security Methods course at UCF. The creation of this website will serve as the company website as well and online store. The site will be designed to provide Dr. Pollitt's students a realistic view of this company.
Project Objective:
- Create and publicly host a website for the Sydney Teddy Bear Company.
- Design the site layout and structure from scratch.
- Use Dr.Pollitt's CET-4884 course material to furnish the site with content.
- The site must operate like a "real" company website.
- Althought the site will not process any "real" transactions, the interface must still be present.
- Site should include a page regarding the companies security awareness.

Client Expectations:

- The site must function like a "real world" company website.
- A page with the executive hieracrchial structure must be included with the site.
- A page with the different job positions and description must be included.
- Site security is critical.
- Only authorized users can change or update the site.
- The client expects the project to be completed and deployed before August 1 2008
Analysis of how the site will be used:
Dr. Pollitt will provide a link to this website for his students enrolled in his CET-4884 course. The site will operate like a real company website. The students will use the site as a resource to complete their asignments. Student assignments will include completing a security analysis and research for the company. The site will be used only for education purposes and will not process any transactions or generate profit.
